My understanding is that he was one of quite a few boys in this age group, that were sent to farming area's to see if that was something they would like to do for an occupation. He didnt want to become a farmer. I dont know wether he returned to England or not. He was the son of CECIL and EDITH SIMPKIN ANSELL. The family lived @ # 1 DRAYTON GARDENS, WEST EALING, MIDDLESEX ENGLAND @ this time. Has anyone heard of this program. I know he was married before he married my mum in 1945 in VANCOUVER, CANADA.
