    1. DEBLAERE
    2. In the Belgian EMIGRANTEN NAAR AMERIKA 1905, there appears: SS Montreal, Antwerp 18 Apr 1905 Quebec Jules DeBLAERE, age 28, from Wingene, farmer, travels to St. Boniface, manitoba, to Charles LAMBERT who works there in a flour mill and earns $2.00 per day. Takes 60 Belgian francs with him and speak flemish. I believe this man could be my grandmother's brother. My grandmother died when I was 10 years old. There are two pictures that my grandfather told me were Jules and his family, but I have nothing on him as far as birth date or who he married. In the pictures, it appears he had 6 daughters. In that picture, they are standing on what looks like animals pelts. It is possible he was a shoemaker at one time. My grandfather said my grandmother kept up on her family and, of course, once she was gone...it was of no matter. I would love to find more of her family. I did find a 2nd cousin; grandson of another brother and he has visited us in the U.S. twice now and we have very much enjoyed it. If anyone can help me prove or disprove this lead, please contact me. VBasford@aol.com Thanks so much. Ginny in Florida USA
