Hi Mary Anne, A few years ago I received a death cert. from Manitoba with the "cause of death" blocked out. A couple of years later I sent them a photocopy of the one they sent plus a note saying that I would like to have a copy of a cert. with it not crossed out and they did send it to me. You could try this before you pay again.
