I ordered a death certificate from Manitoba and the cause of death was on it. I did state that it was for genealogy purposes, as I always do, so that may be why the certificate was intact. I wish that Manitoba would get with the new millennium and at least make BMD indexes available. I agree. Wasn't there mention of some records going on-line, similar to B.C.? Seems to me we were asked to write to a certain address to "encourage" them to do so, which I did.
