The Manitoba Vital Statistics Act specifies that the Vital Statistics for the following are available for searching in the database: Births more than 100 years ago Marriages more than 80 years ago Deaths more than 70 years ago Any that are more recent are not: you have to write to them for the certificates and will get the certificate only if you qualify. So, if you are looking for a birth in 1904, you are out of luck until next year.
