Hi Everyone, I have a brand new question.... Has anyone ever heard of: The International Meat Market? No funnies here... I have a copy of a letter written by my grandfather Thomas H. Sales on September 18, 1908 to his first wife Susan Wilson Murray Sales. The letter is written on International Meat Market account sheets. Besides saying International Meat Market it also says Meat and Farm Produce of all kinds. C.J. Craig, Manager, Reston, Manitoba. I know it's a long shot but I'm hoping that someone might either remember or perhaps know if this company is still operating... I know that my grandfather was a butcher by trade... I'm wondering if this company was or employed butchers as travelling slaughter men? My grandfather moved around a great deal I know that he worked in Manitoba, Alberta, Saskatchewan and BC, in all places he was a butcher. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated.
