Hello Lois, Yes I believe this is the Arcola I am looking for. I don't quite know why I thought it would have been in Manitoba! I would appreciate it greatly if you could do a lookup in the history book to see if the following family is listed. What I do know is that they were living in Sullivan Twp., Grey County, Ontario in 1891 (according to Canada census) up until 1899. In a land sale document dated November 1900 it states they were living in Arcola village, Assiniboia, NWT. McLEOD FAMILY: McLEOD, ARCHIBALD, b. abt. 1847 in Ontario wife: McLEOD, MARY, b. abt 1857 in Ontario children: Mary Maud b. July 1880 in Ontario Grace Matilda, b. March 22, 1884 in Ontario Thomas William, b. abt. 1889 in Ontario Any information you could give me would be greatly appreciated.
