    3. Hi Tricia - I have since talked with our local librarian. Her suggestion is that the communities be made aware that the libraries will always be glad to have these books donated. If they get several editions the same they pass them on. There is a move afoot across Canada to get ALL libraries connected and accessible by internet. In Alberta right now I am learning to access all libraries here; one can find out where the books they desire are located and then directly order them through ILL at no cost. Our librarian says that the provinces are all either doing this or have done, but the interprovincial connection is not available yet for ordinary users. ILL from other provinces still has to be done by the local libraries. I suspect this may have something to do with the plans afoot to combine the National Library with National Archives and get it all online. Have you accessed www.globalgenealogy.com yet? There is a lot of information there through the Canada Census Campaign that talks about this combining and the recent formation of a Canadian Genealogy Society.
