Hi everyone, This is my first contact with Manitoba. (Other than being born in the Peg) I am researching information for our family tree and have been looking for information about Killarney c1900. My father, Henry JOLLY lived there with his parents Henry & Emily JOLLY. I believe on a farm in the area. Henry started as an apprentice at a print shop or a newspaper in Killarney, probably about 1920. Is there any info remaining about such a shop or newspaper? Also would like to know if there is a cemetery in the area. Looking for MI of an Adelaide JOLLY who would have been an aunt in the family. Another thing we have been told is that Grandpa JOLLY ran a "Buffalo Farm". Has anyone heard of such a thing? Any history of Killarney would be most welcome. I have been there but I was too young to recall anything much about what I saw. I do remember the mosquitos tho. They were huge! Would Killarney be considered in the Western Region?
