On July 14, Phyllis Haynen asked members to list the areas being searched for ancestors. I didn't see that message until this evening being a newcomer to the list. I'm looking for anybody connected to DAVIES - VANDERBURG - WEBB I'm particularly interested in locating particulars about a Dr. Russ Davies who might be an uncle or cousin. All I have is a photo taken by a Winnipeg photographer but with no date. My hunch is that he was a son of one of my paternal Grandfather's brothers. Re area, that would most likely be Winnipeg and environs but anywhere info might turn up would be fine. If anybody happens to know about a Edith Vanderburg who taught school in Sault St. Marie, I'd also be grateful. I think there were Vanderburg's in Winnipeg/Manitoba. I knew Edith when I was a child, even have her former Soo address. I'm guessing she's the daughter of my Grandmother Clarissa Elizabeth Vanderburg/Webb who took me to raise along with Grandfather Wellington and two of mother's adoptive sisters, Florence and Charlotte[Lottie] Webb.
