I am new to this listing. I am researching the Ross and Rock families in Manitoba. My father Kenneth David Rock was born in Winnipeg on 8/18/1916 to Charles David and Dorothy Georgina Ross Rock. His sister Marguerite Joy Rock was born 11/14/1919 in St. Thomas, Ontario. Charles David Rock was born 9/29/1889 in Ridgetown, Ontario, to Charles and Charlotte Maria Bourne Rock. Charles and Charlotte Bourne Rock were both born in Ontario. Dorothy Ross Rock was born 6/17/1894 in Winnipeg to Donald and Jessie Mae Hallies (or Hallous or Hollis) Ross; she had 6 other sisters and perhaps 3 brothers. Donald and Jessie Hallies Ross and their daughters Jessie Mae and Elizabeth Blackburn Ross were all born in Dundee, Scotland, and came to Canada between 1888 and 1894.
