I thought I had better introduce myself after lurking for a while now. My name is Pat and I am researching in the area of Virden, Elkhorn, Brandon and Oak Lake. The names I am researching are Weldon, my maiden name and O'Connell, my Mother's maiden name. A number of years ago while my Father was visiting there they were moving the old Weldon house which had been purchased by some unknown, to another location. Any one in that area know any thing about this. It would be neat to have a picture of the restoration. So hi to every one and let me know of any thing I might be able to help you with from that area. I don't live near there but my Mother is still kicking and remembers quite a bit. When I go visit her later this summer I intend to dig through some of my Dad's old books and papers. Cheers Pat
