    1. [CAN-Manitoba] census district for Wawanesa for 1901

    3. I am interested in finding out what census district Wawanesa (south of Brandon) would have been in for the 1901 census. I checked the gov't index and Wawanesa wasn't listed by itself. It did rate a mention in the 1901 Mantitoba Municipalities Directory. I'll ask the same question for Morden (Selkirk in 1891) and Ninette. These were afterthoughts so I did not check the 1901 index for them. Alan

    3. Hi Alan, Couldn't find Wawanesa listed for the 1901 Census, but would imagine it would be included in the Cypress area with Ninette and therefore would be in the Marquette District in 1891 and Macdonald in 1901. Morden was in the Lisgar District in 1901. Hope this helps.
