    1. I'm new to research in Manitoba and wondering...
    2. DW
    3. Hi everyone... I'm new to this list and I have a couple of questions... I'm wondering if anyone on the list has any experience with the Oddfellow's Association of Manitoba. A distant relative has just supplied me with a document stating that my Grandfather Thomas Herbert Sales was a member of this order in 1910 and I'm wondering if any records from those years might still be held by this group. I am also curious if Reston has records available for the years 1909 - 1914 that may help me in my quest and if there is or was either an Anglican (Church of England) or Presbyterian Church in the vicinity. The document I have was issued by the Odd Fellows Funeral Aid Association of Manitoba and my grandfather's name was Thomas Herbert Sales, his wife at the time was Susan Wilson Murray Sales. The address given for my grandfather simply reads Reston, Manitoba. I believe that my grandfather and his first wife may have had a child while living in Reston and I am hoping for any information possible to locate this child. Her birth name would have been Shirley Sales, it is also possible that she may have passed away in Reston as when my grandfather entered the military in 1914 he listed only one child, this being his step-son Henry James Murray Sales born in 1897. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Deborah SEARCHING: AYERS, East Grinstead, Sussex, England; Oxted, Surrey, England BISH, Godstone, Surrey, England; Oxted, Surrey, England SALES, Oxted, Surrey, England; Ontario, Saskatchewan; BC, Canada SNAZEL/SNAZELL Surrey, England; Ontario, Saskatchewan, BC, Canada Need more info see my web page at: http://www.angelfire.com/me2/familypix/sales.html
