    3. Hello Listers Once again I'm posting this message. Sorry I forgot to change the subject line on the last one. I hope I didn't cause any confusion. The following is quoted from the Manitoba Legislative Library Scrapbook, February 23, 1910: "William Ferguson, Conservative member for Hamiota, comes from the neighbourhood of Smiths Falls, Ontario....Coming to Hamiota in 1892, he engaged in farming, which pursuit he has followed in that district up to the present time....Mr. Ferguson first entered public life in 1896, when he ran as a Conservative for Hamiota. He was defeated on that occasion, but ran again in 1899, when he was returned, and has continued to represent the constituency....In 1892 Mr. ferguson was married to Miss Sanderson of Minnedosa by whom he has five children. He is an Anglican in religion and a prominent member of the Masonic Lodge at Hamiota." I am searching for the names of Will Fergusons children, also information on any that might have served in WW1. Are any of his descendents still living in Hamiota? If not, does anyone know their whereabouts? Mr. Ferguson is not a relative, but he was a friend of my grandfather's, J.L, Evans of Miniota. and I'm trying to clear up some details for a biography. Any information would be welcome. TIA, Susan CFHS 2557 Hamilton ON Interests: Will Ferguson MLA, Hamiota J.L. Evans family, Miniota J.J. Taylor family, Miniota Hugh Walker family, Miniota MacKay family, Strathclair

    3. Many years ago, 40 or 50, there was a T.B. centre connected to the Winnipeg General Hosp. Think it was called the D. A? Stewart Centre. It folded when T.B. seemed to be controlled.
