    3. Alice: I looked up the Coutts family in the Neepawa area local history book. There is a biography on John and Agnes (nee Green) Coutts. They moved from Ontario in 1890 to the Neepawa area. If this is your family I will snail mail you the biography. They built a house on the corner 2 doors down from my Mom. I am not sure if it is still standing but I know my Mom's house if 100+ years old. There was no info on the Merritt family. And I sent you all the info on the Brown family from this book. 3. Hello, Learned something new today and thought I would share! If you have been looking for Mc or Mac ancestors in an area that you know absolutely that they should be there, try putting a space between the Mac and the rest of the name. Sounds almost too simple, but it did work on a name I was searching for this AM! Good hunting! Victoria Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
