I had been hoping to find a May Manton who worked in Winnipeg around the turn of the century Now I find out that her name was Edith May Manton B: 1881 4th Quarter Warwick, England. I previously paid to have the Manitoba Genealogical Society's Master Index to the M.G.S., cemetery transcriptions checked for the name May Manton. Now I have learned her name was Edith May Manton. Family told me she died of Typhoid around 1901 but I have since found out that she was living at The Hudson's Bay Residence, Winnipeg, 1905. Could SKS tell me if there is any listing of an EDITH MAY MANTON in WINNIPEG records or cemeteries. Any help would be appreciated. Kathy Hodson British Columbia
I am searching for records of Donald 43 yr & Gertrude 33 yrs MacKinnon who were married in Vancouver but because his occupation was listed as Ranching & Mining, could have lived anywhere. Both born in England. Would like any Cemetery or Burial Information. No date of death yet. K.Hodson [email protected]
