Hi Joan, Yes, I was there the day before they disappeared from the microfiche drawer and I'm partly responsible, I guess. As instructed, I replaced the envelopes in the tray on the top of the cabinet for them to refile. Next day, I happened to be there again and looked- only the one I hadn't used was still there! A couple of weeks later, they were still missing so I talked to the man in charge of that section- he came with me and we looked but they weren't in any place we tried. Last time I looked, they were still missing! One good thing though is that you can access the internet without an SFU student number- it requires filling out a form and giving them some collateral but then you can look online. Last year, I heard that the SFU ones were in some time in early spring, I think. I had asked at Cloverdale and been told theirs would arrive about the end of May. As far as I know, SFU has the regular updates from last year but they still don't have the film of the WW2 deaths which were released last year. Stella may be able to tell us when the Vancouver Library usually gets the updates. I hope people will let the list know whenever they hear that the new films are in.
