I was surprised, after returning last night with dinner with friends, to find 13 replies to the first query I submitted to the list after subscribing yesterday. These wonderful folks have given me some good leads and sites to follow up on and I will be thanking each of them individually. However, I thought I should write this list as a whole to express my appreciation to all of you and to request that you hold off sending me any more info on my GARNER kin and the Princess Sophia tragedy, at least until I have a chance to check out all that these kind folks sent me last night. I may submit another request, if I need further help and I will let you all know what I discover from all that was been sent to me last night. > > Thanks again! > > Harleigh Winkler > > > > > ==== CAN-BRITISH-COLUMBIA Mailing List ==== > To New Subscribers : The online indexes to British Columbia Vital Records are at > http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca:9000/sn-301BDDB/bsearch > These records are freely available and there are several possibilities for accessing them at a low cost. >
