Hi Is there anyone on this list from Vancouver ?? If so please can you tell me if 1788 Haro Street is still standing. Is it a house or an apartment or what ? My Great Uncle John Brown lived there in 1941. Any help would be most welcome. Helen

May have been a large rooming house as well. The directory will show - names of all persons living at the address. There are very few houses left in the West End - most are high rise - or semi high rise apartment buildings. Depending on the weather - I may get a chance to get out of the house - and go into town - sometime today, If I do - I can probably take a stroll - to the address - to see what stands there now. Otherwise - not till after April 2 - when I know I will have a couple of free days, friends ate taking their little ones to Disneyland.
