    3. Goodmorning List Thank you all for your help. I have contacted the funeral home and they were VERY helpful. I may have to wait 1-2 months to hear back from them as they have several requests. He didn't think that there would be any more details on the funeral record in 1959 than were on the death registration though but said sometimes the records surprise him. Have a great weekend everyone................debi lorri & Jamie wrote: >Hi all >I believe if you write to the cemetry. They will tell you who took over. 3. Hi Debi, The funeral home records - the information required for the Death Registration. They may also take the information for an obituary to be published. They will have records - re names of pall bearers - how many Limo's - funeral costs - names of some family members - wife, children - perhaps siblings - not really more personal information about the deceased - *one funeral home that I had been in touch with - sent information about where the casket was purchased, where it was build [in B.C.] .when it was sent to Ontario for the funeral, cost of flowers and other incidentals, name of persons paying for same. cost of the funeral, burial etc. names of the pall bearers and relationship to the deceased. number of auto's even the number of flower arrangements received. a copy of the original information taken for the obituary - hand written by the funeral director - and signatures etc of the informant. where the cemetery was - where the reception was to be held Perhaps not all handle information requests in this manner -Since the Funeral Home was close to the Cemetery - we were even sent photo's of the burial site -*the lady who worked at the funeral home - even placed flowers on the grave site. Another working in the Cemetery office - also sent photo's of the site and surrounding area. We can't expect this in a large city - Cheers, Stella At 07:11 AM 3/19/2005, debi wrote: >Goodmorning List > >Thank you all for your help.
