Hi All I'm searching for information about a cousin of mine, once removed, whom I believe was teaching in Mission in the early 1940s. She was reported as living in Mission at the time of her father's death in Regina in 1941. The person I seek is Margaret Helen Vanderburgh. I knew Margaret back in the 30s but lost touch with her thereafter. At that time she was teaching in Sault. Ste. Marie, ON. Somewhere along the way, I also stumbled upon info that indicated she may have taught in Abbotsford. She was born in 1909, probably in Indian Head, SK to where her father emigrated from Ontario and where he and Margaret's mother are buried. I can find no record of a marriage or death. When I knew her, she was unmarried and in her 20s. I can see her face in front of me as I type. Is there any list user in the Fraser Valley, who might have a look at Mission and Abbotsford school archives...perhaps even other Fraser Valley districts. I know I'm dart boarding. Does anybody know of accessible archives of BC teachers through the years and that's indexed? I welcome all suggestions or assistance. Thanks all Ron Davies Surrey, BC
