Greetings, I'm just new to this list and was wondering if anyone knows if there is any information on-line for the Nanaimo newspapers; specifically obituaries from the period 1910 - 1930. I'm also interested in Nanaimo coal mining history for the same period. My Docherty family research is steeped in coal mining, from Scotland to Nanaimo/Cumberland, and several lives were lost in mining accidents.
