I understand that there were time frames in BC when various person s (such as Aboriginals or Indians) were excluded from registration. That may explain why I can't find our Agnes who died in November 1916. If they were not recorded with Vital Stats during that time frame, were they recorded elsewhere? Hi! Was your Agnes, in fact, an aboriginal person? If so, I have some pointers that may help. If she was, was it from a Band in the Alert Bay area? I know there are several Cook families there, and know of one descendant who is doing genealogical research.
