    3. http://www.islandnet.com/cgi-bin/ms2/rsd/search is a searchable database (some are adamant that this database only has entries for those who have headstones - it was my experience that the records of my extended family's burial sites are both marked and unmarked and taken from the graveyard registry - other than those who were buried in private burial grounds) Gives the result: Name Cemetery Location Region Reference EARP, John F. (h/o Ada Jones) Qualicum Beach Community Qualicum Beach, Jones Road Vancouver Island MC-371 With surname "Earp" With surname "Jones" Given Name "Ada" gave four results. http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca:9000/sn-123637C/gbsearch BC Archives Genealogy Search for BMD (Birth Marriage Death) Deaths (1872-1981) which means that Charles Earp's death was likely after 1981 so keep on searching the database from time to time Happy Hunting Regards; Dennice researching: Brûlè, Poirier, McFadden, Stephens, Michelsen, French, Brooks, Brown, Goudie, Vautrin pioneer families of British Columbia and their 'country wives' http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~goudied/index.html Most Recent Family Tree database online (9,700+ individuals) http://www.gencircles.com/users/goudie_d/1 > Hello List, > Pretty new to genealogy and loving every minute of it. Most entries for the BCCFA are contributed from published cemetery transcripts. Some transcripts include burial records from office records that do not have a stone on the grave. If the record is there it is included. To date though, most transcriptions do not have this information because the society publishing the transcript cannot procure this data. Hope that helps a little, Lynda
