Audrey, HMCS Naden is a Canadian navy shore establishment (not a ship) located near Victoria, BC. The cemetary there has burials from all military services. CSM is an army rank - Company Sergeant Major, which was a senior non-commissioned rank. I'm not sure of the rules for being included in the CWGC record, maybe it is restricted to those who died as result of direct enemy action. He may have died in peacetime.
