Hello fellow listers, I finally found where she is buried! Fraser Cemetery confirmed she is buried there. Now I hope someone can check obituaries for me. Perhaps it would be at the New Westminster Library??? Elsie Campbell died or buried 2 Jan 2001 Probably at New Westminster, B.C. Hi Suzie, Usually I would be one of the people who would respond and offer do a search. We are in the process of waiting for the birth of my cousins first grandchild - so are staying very close to the telephone. I am sure there are many who can help. Perhaps contacting the New Westminster Public Library- would be helpful. Since it is just one lookup - I don't know if they index the current deaths - but - you do have the year - date - so should not be difficult for them to search. http://www.nwpl.new-westminster.bc.ca/ The following - Taken from the New Westminster Library -Genealogy Section:for another death (in 1950) Shows the information taken by the Funeral Home /Undertaker at the time that Funeral Arrangements are being made. This is the information that is then sent to the Govt Vital Events /Statistics departments - for the Death Registration. Basic information from this Death Registration is then extracted - and a Death Certificate is issued ( good for proof of the event - not enough info for Genealogy research). Note that this info from the Funeral Director - also includes info about funeral arrangement - pall bearers etc. which is not found on the Death Registration. http://www.nwpl.ca/bowell/bowell.php?operation=Display&id=3342 If no one is able to help - I can possibly do so - in the next few days.
