Hello everyone Just re-posting my interests: JONES - Robert Whitney, b. 1916, s/o Charles and Elsie (WELLS) Jones. Lived in Richmond and Eburne area, d. 1970 or 1971 (can't remember which). Charles was superintendant of the Richmond Waterworks. After his death, Elsie remarried a Campbell. Elsie was a piano teacher. JONES - George - b. England in the 1870s, was Charles' brother. Never married. Had the first hansom cab in BC, rode around Stanley Park in it. He won the first Mr. BC Contest in the 1920s at the age of 55. Quite a bit of mystery surrounding him, as he seemed to have quite a bit of money. CORNEY - Henry/Harry Corney came to Canada from Kent, England in the early 1900s. Opened a bicycle shop in Duncan, married Beatrice Richards. Closed bicycle shop and left to join the 1st Canadian Pioneers in about 1916. RICHARDS - Alice, married John Oliver Stanley in Vernon. . Moved to Merritt, died giving birth to her first child in Dec. 1911. Child died also. I have all the information off the BC Archives, but seeking any connections with the above. Taryn
