Thank you list. I am interested in find my friends father His name was John TCHROB you can spell it a few different ways but he came from Canada we think He married Alice Hawkins ca 1920 in Griscome . I would like to find this marriage record if any one can help me find it or tell me a phone number to call or address to write too. Thank you again Shirley
Hi Shirley, Giscome is located north/east of Prince George on the Willow River. In the 20's it was probably a logging/sawmill community. I looked in the Prince George phone book and found no Tichrob's listed in Giscome or Prince George. You might want to check with the IWA union office in Prince George to find who the local employers were at that time. They have some pretty good archives. They can be reached at 250 563-7771.
