    1. [CAN-BC] More about Essondale
    2. Pam Thomson
    3. Hi, I've heard from several people today and wanted to add a bit more about Riverview/Essondale. Crease Clinic was one place where people were treated. Here's something from the BC Archives site: The Crease Clinic of Psychological Medicine was established in 1949 as an acute care facility. It was situated at Essondale, adjacent to the Provincial Mental Hospital. In 1964 the Provincial Mental Hospital at Essondale and the Crease Clinic were combined to function as one mental health facility, Riverview Hospital. The elderly were often in Valleyview Hospital which was also on the Riverview grounds. I can't see any web pages which deal specifically with these areas. To find out more about a specific person- (taking this from an earlier message to the list from Diane H.) A person can write to : Shirley MacDonald , HIP Freedom of information Analyst Clinical Records Services , Riverview Hospital , 500 Lougheed Highway , Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 4J2 Pam -- Pam Thomson in BC, Canada Researching Fairweather & Todrick mailto:pamthom@intergate.ca
