Contra Costa County) Thelma Maier was born on December 9, 1929 in Vancover, BC, Canada and died on October 5, 2001 at Rossmore Care Center, age 71. Thelma and her family came to the United States when she was 14. She is survived by tow sisters, Bertha Powers, and Zella Dunning, one brother, Carl Milmon; two sons, Keith and David Krider, one grandchild, Katlin Krider; and special friend Barbara Stamatelos. Thelma was preceded in death by her son Kyle. She retired from Contra Costa County Social Services as an eligibility worker. Thelma was a member of Community Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed doing crafts at the Antioch Senior Center and she loved to go on the "Mystery Trips" throughout the yer. A memorial service will be held at the Community Presbyterian Church in Pittsburg o n Sunday, October 14 ath 2:00 pm. Memorial Contributions requested to the Church or the Hospice of Contra Costa, 2051 Harrison St., Concord, California. Arrangements by Brentwood Funeral Home. Note: Appears to have been married twice, once to KRIDER (possibly John Henry) and Then to Maier, no children.
