To all -- Transcribing seems to have picked up a bit during the past week, we are anxious to see completion of Saskatchewan - then we will only have Alberta and British Columbia. After that come the proofreaders -- I wish them luck in some areas - too much ink or not enough as in Halifax. Percentages:- CANADA..........................97.12% ALBERTA.........................82.21% BRITISH COLUMBIA.......79.95% SASKATCHEWAN...........89.42% I have been proofreading for some of the transcribers, also putting in addresses of the small villages in Shelburne and Queens area. If one can only have time to do a page or two -- DO NOT CLAIM unless you are the last one - all pages must have 50 lines. One was found yesterday that had been claimed 2006 - 05-01 - 15 lines. Let's get the job done and on to our own interests - one person sent a note that the transcribing would not be done until end of 2008 0 I would like to prove that person wrong. Any questions? Let me know -- if I do not have the answer, will find it. http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ Muriel M. Davidson Co-Chair, Canada Census Committee Brampton, ON
