    3. Greetings All. The name Annette Fulford is familiar to all of us who subscribe to the British Columbia mail list. She has been extremely helpful to others seeking information on this list. What most subscribers will not be aware of is that Annette was recently presented a Heritage Award by Maple Ridge acting Mayor Ernie Daykin. The award was in appreciation for the past ten years that she has written and edited the Maple Ridge Historical Society Family History Newsletter. There is a picture of her presentation in the March 2007 issue of the British Columbia Historical Federation Newsletter at http://bchistory.ca/publications/newsletter/oldnewsletters/18_mar2007.pdf Congratulations Annette. For my own part, yesterday I received an email yesterday from the British Columbia Historical Federation inviting me to attend their awards banquet in Victoria on 12 may 2007. They advised that they wish to present me with a Certificate of Merit for the part that I played in regaining public access to Historic Census Records. It will be my honour to attend, along with my daughter, to receive the Certificate of Merit. Gordon A.
