With snow predicted - at least in this area -- for the next few days, we might get a few more numbers added to present percentages. Some areas, like Prince Albert in Saskatchewan need a 1910 city directory -- hopefully data that can be read will match the addresses. This is the only way, on some pages, that the surnames will be known -- the printer seems to have dropped the ink over these! Present percentages:- ALBERTA ....................... 77.44% BRITISH COLUMBIA..... 78.70% SASKATCHEWAN.......... 86..54% CANADA = 96.68% With Spring here (?), it would be nice to have all pages transcribed by summer. Also, Senator Lorna Milne strongly suggests we let others in our areas know about the 55% YES for "informed consent question". We need the other 45% and I know in my city that many did not complete the census form because they could not read either English or French -- therefore could not contact the census hotline.
