    1. [CAN-BC] Cecily HATCHER and Annie WARBURTON (?)
    2. Doug Durrant
    3. Dear Listers, I'm looking for descendants of my mother's cousin, whose maiden name was Cecily HATCHER. She was born about 1915 to Thomas and Annie HATCHER, who emigrated to Canada from UK. They lived in Sturgeon Creek, Manitoba and Thomas served with Fort Garry Horse in WW1 until he was killed in 1918. Annie remarried to someone called WARBURTON (?). Cicely lived at Princess Ave, North Lonsdale, B.C., in 1930, and I believe she trained as a dietitian or nutritionist, possibly at Winnipeg. She apparently married a medical doctor, who may have been of Dutch descent. My mother's name, by the way, is Joan Lavinia BRADLEY, nee HATCHER. If anyone can help, I shall be most grateful. Yours hopefully, Maureen Durrant.

    3. Hi Maureen, This may be Annie's death: Name: Annie Warburton Place North Vancouver Reg. Number: 1973-09-014018 Date: 1973 10 14 (Yr/Mo/Day) Age: 87 Microfilm #: B13327 (GSU # 2050140) I can get this for you, although not immediately. I just did a "run" to the library so may not go again for a couple of weeks. Is it Cecily or Cicely, do you know? She probably lived on Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver. Try some searches here if you have a possible last name for her. http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca:9000/sn-809CBC/bsearch Don't order the online image- it's very expensive, let one of us volunteers get a photocopy. 3. Hi obit is probably in NS Shopper or Express...I'll check for it on my way home if Library is open. btw Princess is in the District of North Van. about 4 long blocks east of Lonsdale...in the Upper Lonsdale area. Warburton is familiar to me...I lived on the next street...perhaps she was on my son's paper route back in 1973. Pam, you mentioned not so long ago about either index or vital stats regs m/f not being where they should be up at SFU...was up there on Wed and found marriage index where it should not have been...put it in the "to file basket" and hope it gets filed in the right spot... regards Viv in North Van ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pam Fairweather Thomson" <pamthom@intergate.ca> To: <CAN-BRITISH-COLUMBIA-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, March 02, 2002 9:06 AM Subject: Re: [CAN-BC] Cecily HATCHER and Annie WARBURTON (?) > Hi Maureen, > This may be Annie's death: > Name: Annie Warburton Place North Vancouver > Reg.
