Hello, Listers! I was wondering, if SKS would, please, help me with my Desktop Icons! I have before had this prob. with another PC a few years ago and the person who cleared it for me just used a few keys to clear it up--but dummy me, did not write it down for future use--dah!! :) On top of my Windows 2000, I have 4 or 5 other programs sitting right on top of it. There is a blue line coming from the right side of it to the far right of the screen. If I try to move the top icon to a clear space on my Desktop, another icon replaces that one. It is just vicious cycle! It has interrupted my Sound, e-mail, etc. And, I do not know what to do! Please, help! And, please, send step-by-step instructions to this "dummy me" ( :) )! Shannah: Go to your desktop, right click on the mouse. A window will come up and the top one says "arrange icons by". Follow the arrow and dollars to doughnuts "auto arrange" has a check mark beside it. Uncheck it and Bobs your Uncle. Good luck.
