Hi Della, Does it say E. Broadway or W. Broadway? I have a hunch it might be in the Mount Pleasant area of Vancouver. Hello Pam, Thanks for your quick response. I looked at Eleanor's marriage cert. again and there is a mark after 1144 Broadway which can be deciphered as a W. Is west the area where Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church is? HI Della, I will also check out the address of 1144 West Broardway.. This Address is just West of OAK Street in Vancouver - at one time I believe it was called the Fairview District - the telephone numbers for the area were Fairview #'s. This area has totally changed - from even just a few years ago. with many new commercial buildings taking place of the old. Will also check out 1144 East Broadway., This is the Mount Pleasant District 1155 East Broadway - is now the King Edward Campus.
