Hello All! Well, I received a great response to my email to you all, explaining about the wonderful video that has been compiled by the Vancouver Trams Society. For those who didn't see the email, this video shows Vancouver, Burnaby & New Westminster as they were back in the early 1950's. All the old buildings are shown along with the people who worked and lived in the areas as well as, of course, all the Trams. The video takes you on a ride along all the old routes. It's a wonderful ride down memory lane for those of us who remember those days. The open air tourist tram and it's employees and entertainers are shown at length. The Tram Society has a web site at http://www.trams.ca . If you click on the link about the historic buses there is a link to souvenirs. This list shows the prices of the Video - which is $20.00 CAN and there is now a DVD for $25.00. This is not a short "clip" but a lengthy video that is quite entertaining. I understand that if you contact Dale Laird at [email protected] he will give you the scoop on how to order. Or, you can contact the Transit Museum Society itself. I hope Dale's email address is correct. It's a little difficult to decipher on their web site. Good luck - and I hope you enjoy!
