Hi Everyone, I have been told today by my grandmother that my CHURCHER family came to Canada as assisted passengers around 1930. Could someone tell me where I could find out a bit more? Things like the name of the ship, where they landed, ships records etc. Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Carol Chapman
Hello Carol Have you looked at the National Archive site for Immigration 1925-1935? There are 7 Churchers listed there. You didn't say the first names so couldn't say it they were your family or not. http://www.collectionscanada.ca/archivianet/0201_e.html Carol Lylyk Calgary ----- Original Message ----- From: "Carol Chapman" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2005 12:18 PM Subject: [CAN-BC] Assisted Passage to Canada | Hi Everyone, | I have been told today by my grandmother that my CHURCHER family came to Canada as assisted passengers around 1930. | Could someone tell me where I could find out a bit more?
