Hi Denise, Wish I could be of help. Sadly, it has been a long time since I was in school, my knowledge of my own Province - may be seriously lacking. I am not aware of Seaboard or Anne County. This information was from Ancestry.com ? I am not a subscriber - is there other information included - eg. name of contact person - one who submitted the information.? Is it possible that the letters VA may refer to records for the State of Virginia in the U.S.A. - is there any reference ? There is a Seaboard District - in Princess Anne County in the State of Virginia. U.S.A. ** Just in Case***** it is the 1870 Census for Virginia that you are interested in: Please see the following - there are volunteers who will search: http://www.freegenealogylookups.com/cd290.htm In Canada - our Census is taken every 10 years. I believe the first available for British Columbia - is 1881. I searched our B.C. Govt. Vital Stats - Deaths - 1872 - 1980. just so see of Jonathan Woodhurst would show - results 0. I searched our B.C. Govt Vital Stats - Marriages. 1872 - 1925 - 0 results. Just a question: Your surname is Botting. Have you been in touch with Jim Hill from Alberta Canada. ? He belongs to the Kent Engl List - as well as Sussex Plus - I don't know what others. He is researching the Botting Surname. Hopefully someone on this list - far more knowledgeable than I am - will be able to help in your quest.
