    3. Hi, I'm new to the list and am looking for information and/or decendents of William McGillivray MUNSIE and Catherine "Kate" DUNN. Wm. b. in Pictou, Nova Scotia 1849 and Catherine b.1850 in Tatamagouche, Colchester Co., Nova Scotia. They were married Apr. 26, 1870 in Tatamagouche. They settled in Victoria abt. 1878. He was involved with several busineses-Albion Iron Works; Victoria Sealing and Trading Co.; Shawnigan Lake, Ladysmith, and Nanimo Lumber Co. They had 10 children: Alice b. 1870 Laura B. b. 1873 m. Wm. Herbert Wilkerson-2 ch Minnie J. b. 1877 m. William McNeill - 2 ch H. Barrett Harry b. 1879 m. Lola Bean Maude b. 1880 m. Ernest Lang Bertha b. 1884 m. Ewan Cameron Catherine b. 1887 m. Norman Seabrook William Harris b. 1888 m. Caroline Helmann-3 ch. Florence b. 1894 m. Lieut. Charles Ernest Brown - 2 ch Eva b. 1891 m. William Swanton Day - 3 ch Any help would be appreciated. You will find your Munsie family on the BC Archives site at http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/textual/governmt/vstats/v_events.htm There are twelve Munsie's in the death index plus you can do a search for their spouses as well.
