Charles Alexander Chatterson was a detective and owner of the Chatterson Detective Agency. He died on March 30, 1939 in Vancouver, age 73. From 1925 until some point, with his wife, Sarah (McKnight) Chatterson (d. May 12, 1954, age 83) they operated "Mary Jane Candy Company" in Vancouver. It is rumoured that this company was bought out by Laura Secord. There is another Chatterson that I would appreciate any information on - Stella May Chatterson (d. Sept 1, 1942, age 84). I believe that this was Charles' sister whom I know as Estella (b. 1858 in Colborne Ontario). I think that she is buried in Essondale but I'm not sure where this is. > >Does anyone know how I might find their obituarys? > >If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate a clue in the puzzle. > >Thanks, >Bonnie Slade > > >==== CAN-BRITISH-COLUMBIA Mailing List ==== >Every two months or so, please repost your interests, >telling us what you know and where you've looked >and what you still need to find out. > >
