Hi Jim and All. I have a picture of myself and a couple of friends walking down either Pender or Hastings Street, west of Main Street. As near as I can recall it would have been taken about September or October 1961 so the street photographers were still going strong at that time. The occasion was my first trip home on leave from the RCAF, 10 months after first leaving home 17 November 1960. I also have other street photos going back probably 20 years before the one of myself. I can remember getting photographed that way myself as a child, I think near the old Hudson Bay store. This one indicated on the back taken by Movie Snaps, 541 Granville St. Sometimes we bought them, and sometimes we didn't, but enough people must have bought them to keep the place in business for a long time.
