    3. Hmmmmm it was a Private Company??? So one never knows where the records could go. If you are lucky some kind sole may have passed the records on to someone in the family or to a friend of the family who owned the business... I am also involved in searching down old cars in the Province here, one particularly fairly rare make. There was only one distributor for the manufacture, here, from 1956 to 1972 Most of the company records now reside with a close friend of the owner who is now passed away. This is fortunate. Have a hunt for the owners family someone just might have the records stashed away somewhere. cheers Marv At 05:00 AM 19/12/04, you wrote: >CAN-BRITISH-COLUMBIA-D Digest Volume 04 : Issue 299 > >Today's Topics: > #1 Center and Hanna Records [Diane Brown <[email protected]>] > >Administrivia: >To New Subscribers: >One of the first places you may wish to look is the online >indexes to British Columbia Vital Records, at >http://www.bcarchives.gov.bc.ca/textual/governmt/vstats/v_events.htm#indexes > >These records are freely available and there are several possibilities >for accessing them at a low cost.
