One of the best Christmas presents at this point in the life of Bill S-18 would be a HUGE stack of petitions -- we use Non-Resident and Senate in the Senate, House of Commons in the House of Commons. Families are gathering at this time of year, students may get these signed at school (print a copy of this memo and send petition copies -- the teacher might love you). I have yet to see a petition from a Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions or other clubs. Surprise me!! Street addresses are not needed -- NAME, CITY, STATE or PROVINCE, ZIP/POSTAL CODE. I know Senator Lorna Milne's policy advisor is on the CCC list -- but this is one time he will not report to his "boss". Thanks, Jeff! Senator Milne is a genealogist -- her work for us has interrupted finishing several books plus important research -- she knows all about "brick walls" -- the 1911 census might knock down one of them.
