Very possibly others have written asking your decision about census release and Bill S-18. which hopefully will appear in the House of Commons some day -- presently in the Senate of Canada. You may have been given the impression that you speak for only your constituents -- instead, whenever you speak or vote in the House of Commons, your decision affects all Canadians. Many of us have missing members of our family, which might be found on the 1911 census -- you might not be able to envision searching for ones who are now deceased -- family historians do these things! Also the 1911 census was the last one prior to the First World War, from which many did not return. Let's add a few words in that empty space on your message board -- I know you must be otherwise, or else you would not have been elected in your riding. Muriel M.
