    3. I have a quick question, I hope someone can help with... I am going to be in Vancouver at the end of Feb. for about 6 days....I will be squeezing in visiting cousins etc. and hopefully some family history research. From here in Ontario I tend to order my certificates the expensive way...through the BC archives site. While I am there I am hoping to look up and get copies of as many as I can!! I also want to do some cemetery searching etc. Where is the best place to go to access and copy certificates while I am there? I may try to look up other public documents while there (wills etc.), Where would be my place of choice for this? Any info is welcome. I don't know what I will have time for, but am hoping to at least find out a little info as well as taking tons of photos! Carol in London, Ontario -- No virus found in this outgoing message. 3. Hi Carol, I can't help out with your question as to where to search and copy records while in Vancouver as I live on Vancouver Island, but I just want to let you know there is no need to go the expensive route when ordering BMD records from the B.C. Archives site. Go to RAOGK at: http://www.raogk.org/bcolumbia.htm where a volunteer will get the copies for as little as the charge of photocopying and possibly mailing and parking. Failing that the next choice is Don Crawfords site at: http://members.shaw.ca/copies/ where you can get copies for $4.00 CDN. each. I have no interest in Mr. Crawfords site except as a very happy customer. I use his service quite often and if you e-mail him your request, then put your cheque in the mail, the turnaround time is much faster. Best of luck in your research, and do enjoy your time in Vancouver. Cheers, Bridget in B.C.
