Hi Jim, I would love to see this picture - for my very best friend. She and her husband - had 2 of their children - in Ocean Falls. When they moved to Mc Kenzie - there was a big fire - and they lost - all of their photo's etc - memorabilia. Cheers, Stella At 09:45 AM 10/05/2007, Jim Bundy wrote: >Hi, >At least that's what it looks like to me, and the era of this >picture fits when mine were there. Hi Jim, I'd love to have a copy to pass on to a friend for whom it would be special. When do you think it was taken? Hi, This elderly couple must have been family friends. I don't recall them. If the names sound familiar to anyone, I'd be happy to share the picture. Jim

Hi, No idea who this was. Interesting that most women in that era owned furs on some type. I remember grandma had closets full of them. As a little kid, I liked to feel them, they were so soft. I'd be happy to share it with anyone who might be able to identify this person. Jim
Hi, My mother and aunt Nancy Ramsay were quite involved with horses when they were young teachers, living in different parts of the BC Interior. I'd be happy to share this in case someone recognizes this young woman. Jim Bundy
Hi, I'd be happy to share this in case someone might be able to identify them. Must be a couple that my Mom or aunt Nancy Ramsay knew. Jim
hi, I'd be happy to share this photo if anyone is interested. Given the dry look of the country, must be in the interior somewhere. Jim Bundy
You have intrigued me with this one, Jim. I do live on VI and maybe [we can hope!] I might recognize the place. Hi, The latest photo I've scanned is of a food booth at Francois Lake. Lots of people purchasing snacks. Let me know if you'd like to view it. The note on the back says May 24th, but no year, I'm guessing late 1930's. Near Burns Lake BC. Jim Bundy

To all -- Transcribing is progressing very slowly in our last three provinces, British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. As I have been working in Saskatchewan -- I fully understand the reasons - the enumerators used lots of ink and broad pen-nibs - in many cases the name becomes a ?. Canada us now transcribed -- percentage is 97.42% ALBERTA........................... 83.68% BRITISH COLUMBIA......... 80.24% SASKATCHEWAN............. 90.95% The first four listings in Saskatchewan are 100% Moose Jaw now stands at 94.19% - others lesser. Many thanks to all who are working on these last few pages - we need our census complete to add to our genealogy and family history. Should there be others willing to spend a few hours, send a note to me -- if I do not have the information will obtain it - Let's try Celebrating May 24th in Saskatchewan! http://automatedgenealogy.com/census11/ Sign on with email (safe from spammers) and a password of your own. Hi, No note on the back. :( Nice moose though. Anyone like to see it to guess where it might be? Several mountains in the background. My grandparents took this from a respectful distance, good idea with an unpredictable moose. My friends in Central Wyoming tell me they lose more people to moose than any other animal! Jim
Hi, I had a gap in time there between batches of old BC photos, but now I've come across a large bag of loose photos, which I'm scaning and then putting away in albums. Many are old BC photos, so I 'll be happy to share any. This one is another taken of the railroad bridge construction at Keefer BC up the Fraser in 1929. I don't know where the "Indictment Hole" came from, but its labeled that way on the back. Several workers are in this one, but only 1 facing the camera. Jim
