Hello Lorraine, I only started posting the Calgary Herald Obits in January of this year and I don't think the site has been running much longer than 2 years. Where in Alberta did the death occur? Also where in Alberta do you live? If the death occurred in either Calgary, Edmonton or Lethbridge probably Medicine Hat and Red Deer as well and you have access to a library that could bring the microfilm in for you, you would be able to check out the corresponding newspaper for the obit. I am presuming you know the date of death otherwise you would have to go through a whole year of film.
