    3. Hey AT,   I was mostly just commenting on the general situation lol.  But I'll repeat my story as it's been a while since I've tossed it out to the group.  What the heck.  My Grandpa Campbell was farmer in, and his father, Marion Campbell, homesteaded in northern MT.    They got there via northeast MO (Marion, Knox Counties), and prior to that Henry County KY.  Marions father was James Campbell, and my brick wall, is Marion's Grandpa, my GGG Grandpa  John Campbell.  Supposedly born in 1804 Henry County, KY, definitely married Annie Scott, and supposedly died in 1849.   I keep digging.     Sue         ________________________________ From: "Atpowelljr@aol.com" <Atpowelljr@aol.com> To: campbell@rootsweb.com; campbell_kids@yahoogroups.com Cc: glodawn552002@yahoo.com; Danirose2@netscape.com Sent: Friday, December 14, 2012 4:08 PM Subject: Re: [Campbell] HELLO CAMPBELL COUSINS, SOME where in ALA & TENN Must e A Camp... THANKS CUZ  AT  <atpowelljr@aol.com> Summary: In the early 1800's John  Campbell arrived  in Jackson County  from Virginia where he was  born in about 1779. On May 17, 1819  he  married Aney  Webster in Madison country in the Alabama Territory and moved  to  Tennessee shortly thereafter. They then moved back to Alabama  and  we find them  in Madison and Jackson county. We do not know  for sure  what county they were in,  while living in Tenn.  but there is a strong  indication that they were going back  and forth between Madison and  Jackson counties in Ala. and Lincoln  and Franklin  counties in Tenn.  John and Aney had 8  children _______________________________________ Remember to search  the archives use this  address http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/?list=CAMPBELL Browse the  archives at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/CAMPBELL/ Contact  the List  Manager mailto:campbell-admin@rootsweb.com ------------------------------- To  unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to  CAMPBELL-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes  in the subject and the body of the  message _______________________________________ Remember to search  the archives use this  address http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/?list=CAMPBELL Browse the  archives at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/CAMPBELL/ Contact  the List  Manager mailto:campbell-admin@rootsweb.com ------------------------------- To  unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to  CAMPBELL-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes  in the subject and the body of the  message _______________________________________ Remember to search the archives use this address http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/?list=CAMPBELL Browse the archives at http://archiver.rootsweb.com/th/index/CAMPBELL/ Contact the List Manager mailto:campbell-admin@rootsweb.com ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to CAMPBELL-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
